About Jason Davis: |
Jason Davis has been at LPG since 2003. He has a (saintly) wife, a son, and a
daughter, as well as a fiercely loyal dog. Perhaps his greatest passion is napping,
but a close second is pediatric medicine. He understands (first-hand) that parenting
is difficult, and the evolution of a parenting style needs to be an individualized,
collaborative effort. He feels as though the two main jobs of being a parent are
keeping children safe and teaching them to be grown-ups, and he offers support and
(hopefully) guidance during that journey. Trusting relationships with patients are
important to him, and he treasures the times he spends with children, laughing and
teaching.
As a boy of the 80’s, he developed a deep love of comic books, which continues to
this day. A few years back, he listened to his son’s advice to develop more hobbies,
and now enjoys fishing and occasionally will golf, but the child in him will always
win out. He knows a little bit about almost everything, and, according to his wife,
it’s one of his most endearing and annoying qualities. He also strongly dislikes
writing about himself in the third person and probably will not do that ever again if
he can help it.
