Sports can be a good way to keep kid’s physical fit. Unfortunately they can also be a source of injury. According to the National Institutes of Health, more than 2.3 million children ages 14 and under suffer medically treated sports injuries each year. Luckily many sports injuries can be prevented. Make sure your child is wearing proper safety equipment (helmets, pads, guards), stays well hydrated, stretches before and after activity and has a physical before starting an activity. » Read more about: Sports »
