Tips For Dealing With Social Distancing
Social distancing may be the term we have become familiar with, but to many it has come to mean isolation and loneliness. Loneliness can breed fear, anxiety, and sadness. We hope the need for social distancing will end soon, but while we are living through it, many need some tips for dealing with social distancing.
Dr. Germer Retirement Announcement
After 43 years of practicing medicine it is time to turn the page, my last day at The Lincoln Pediatric Group will be September 1st 2020. I will miss the families that I’ve been fortunate to work with the most. My general health is good and it’s time to spend more time with my wife and family.
Our pediatric office has weathered the initial portion of the covid-19 pandemic well but statistically this is just getting started… wear masks, sanitize and social distance!
We have wonderful providers in our office who will be able to assume care from me. Thanks again to you all. Dr. Mike Germer

Although we are still waiting for our first shipment of flu vaccine, we are planning ahead! We have locked in a date for another WALK-IN FLU SHOT CLINIC!
Saturday, September 21st from 9:00 a.m.-11:30 a.m.
Check in starts at 8:45 a.m. Last patient will be checked in at 11:30. Last year was such a success and we are so happy to be able to offer this option again. Please comment below with your questions, or call our office! (Please note, this is for LPG patients only)

Flu Vaccine Update
Update on flu vaccine: We know you are all eager to make appointments for the flu vaccine. At this time, we have not received any shipments. We are hoping to receive the first shipment mid-September! This shipment is for those with private insurance. We will update our facebook page and website as soon as we know more and have flu shot clinics available for scheduling. We will also update both of these places when we have information on the shipment of vaccines for those with medicaid insurance. Thank you!
Physical Season is here!
Physical season is upon us! We recommend yearly well child checks for all children. Call our pediatric office or use our appointment request tool to get an appointment scheduled today! Summer schedules fill up quick so call ahead of time to reserve your preferred date and time.
Please note: If your high school aged child plans to participate in any sports in the 2020-2021 school year, the date of your child’s physical must be after May 1st, 2020, per school regulations.
